Onto The Next Chapter | Explorar la Ciudad ● Medellín, Colombia

Today was another day of sightseeing for us. We went to the Botero Plaza where Tim and I went to the Museo de Antioquia, where all the famous artwork and sculptures by artist Fernando Botero are.
It is a Saturday and there was some kind of concert outside. (They weren't good, but it was entertaining.) It was really crowded and today was extra humid and hot, so I wasn't feeling well. We had a quick lunch at a restaurant close by and then headed home.

Here are some photos from the visit to the museum:

Not sure if I mentioned this before, but we tend go out to eat less and would rather buy groceries and make food at home. We were very fortunate to stay with Mamie and Daniel here and for breakfast, Mamie made us French Toast.

Then for dinner, we had a delicious beef bone broth soup with vegetables.

Gotta love home cooked meals! We definitely feel spoiled staying with them. Glad to have met them and spent time with them. 😁

I didn't take much photos today, but this was one of my favorites.

Short post today, today was an off day for me and I think I'm starting to get tired of keeping up with this travelers' life of sightseeing and exploring the city. It still hasn't really hit me that I will be out here for 4-5 months. It still feels like a vacation and that I will be going back to work in a week or two. I am thinking of a cool photo project to do, so if you guys have any suggestions or ideas that you would like me to do, please comment or shoot me an email at lynnanguyen17@gmail.com.

Until next time...
